Why Indian Women Proudly Flaunt Western and other Ethnic Attire than Saree
Well, we must agree on that, a woman in a saree looks the sexiest, sensuous, gorgeous, and stunning. Eventually, this most versatile traditional attire is worn during only festivals, weddings, and on special occasions. Lots of marriageable age women don’t like to wear a saree. Nowadays, most of the women usually prefer jeans, kurtis or another outfit over saree. There are actually lots of problems women have to face wearing a saree.
Let’s check out some reasonable logic and reasons that why Indian women hate to wear saree:-
Draping a saree is the most difficult
Lots of women don’t know to drape the saree properly. It takes lots of practices and it consumes lots of time too. The women who are working or studying at offices and colleges in urban India, they don’t have much time to drape a saree. So, they usually avoid wearing it.
You have to face some inconvenience
Wearing a saree you can’t even drive a two-wheeler scooty or byke mainly. You gonna be busy while managing your pallu and the pleats of your saree. You can’t even run, dance, walk fast, go on a date, hang out with friends and go to gym also. There are actually a lot, even I can make a list of these kinds of stuff.
Maybe you can feel exposed
After dragging a saree which has the length of five or six meters I guess, but somehow if the pallu gets down or flew away, lots of women feel really uncomfortable because it totally exposes your tummy, cleavage, bust size and many more.
It will make you difficult to walk
Wearing a saree most of the women can’t walk properly even I’m one of them. And if you are wearing it for the first time, they definitely it gonna trouble you even more. In this case, if you want to accessorize yourself with a pair of heels, it may increase your difficulties because you have to wear at least a pair of heels with fewer inches when you are opting for a saree.
Social prominence
Our young generation avoids wearing a saree due to social acceptability too. Lots of women hate to be called as behenji or aunty if they wear Indian attire. Lots of women do not wear a saree for the fear of being called aunty or behenji.
Well, I believe, you should wear only those dresses, in which you feel more comfortable and easy.
