The festival of Maha Shivaratri is a Hindu festival which is being celebrated every year in the honor of the God Shiva. The Holy occasion of Shivaratri is going to be celebrated on 13th and 14th Feb in 2018. Hindus from all over the world are ready to celebrate this holy festival, some interesting facts about Maha Shivaratri. The meaning of Maha Shivaratri means "the Great Night of Shiva". Maha Shivratri is a major festival for Hindus and this festival marks a presence to overcome on the darkness of life and the world. On this occasion, we worship Lord Shiva (Mahadev) and we do chanting, fasting, doing Yoga, and meditation. The devotees of Shiva keep awake all night to celebrate it.
