When should you introduce solids to your baby ?

I'm a first-time mom, and my baby girl just turned 6 months yesterday. At her last pediatrician visit, the doctor suggested we start introducing solids around 5.5 months. We tried giving her banana, daal ka pani, sweet potato, and water, but she really didn’t like any of it. We paused for a couple of days and tried again, thinking maybe she was ready this time. But seeing other babies online starting solids at 4 or 5 months and eating so well made me feel like I must be doing something wrong. I didn’t want to give up though, so today I started again — this time with a banana shake mixed with breast milk. She had a few sips but mostly spit it out. Still, I’m trying to keep offering it gently. I don’t have any extra help around, but a good friend gave me some advice: "Don’t focus on filling her tummy. Fallen hair around the house will bring fight in the family

According to our elders, it is often believed that fallen hair inside the house might bring fight among the family. If anyone leaves the fallen hair inside the home, it may end up falling inside the food through the wind. It will simply irritate you. Maybe it is a different side or aspect of this superstition.

Bats Entering the House Brings Death

There are lots of myth which are associated with the bats in other countries and it adds up to be a bad omen. Well, in India, it is an old superstition that if a bat enters the house or flies around the house three times or more than it then someone’s death is waiting in the family. But, the real reason behind the bats entering the house brings death is because of the disease transmitted by bats were deadly back in the days when there were no medicines for these diseases. Like Rabies, Nipah, Hendra, Ebola, and Marburg are these viruses which are carried by bats that can cause serious disease in humans. These viruses and some strains of Ebola virus can kill up to 80-90% of humans infected.

Keeping knives under the bed will drive away bad dreams

According to Indian mythology, a knife is kept under a newborn child's bed to drive away their bad dreams. It is also believed that placing an onion under the pillow while you sleep can bring you great insight when dreaming about who your future partner in life will be. Well, all the single people out there should try myth and you will get to know that how wrong this belief is!
