Vidhu Vinod Chopra is the film’s producer and Shelly Chopra is the director who has managed this father-daughter duo bond of Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja for her debut film “Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga”. This movie starring Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao and Juhi Chawla in pivotal roles. For the first time, Sonam and Anil Kapor are the co-stars, in which Anil Kapoor plays Sonam's father role onscreen. Fans can see Juhi Chawla romancing with his co-star Anil Kapoor after a long time onscreen. The trailer of the film was released on December 27, 2018. But this film most probably expected to be released on February 1, 2019.

The title of the film ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ has picked from Anil Kapoor’s most famous song from his hit film 1942: A Love Story. The song also played in the backdrop of its teaser which is leaving fans nostalgic. However, this film is not going to be a smooth and romantic love story. It will give the audience a different type of love story, which is having lots of “siyaapa”.

The story of the Film:- 

The teaser and the poster of the film ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ says, it is “the most unexpected romantic story of the year”. It is a film who describes the bond between a father and his child. Rajkumar is playing the role of a dramatist who is in love with Sonam, and it is portrayed that Sonam is having a big secret about her life which she didn’t disclose to anyone but I think she is playing a role of lesbian and in love with a girl. And on the other side, the peak point of the movie is hinting about the amorous chemistry between Anil and Juhi.

Sonam has given brief details about the plot of the film that “In India, sometimes we come across situations where we have to explain about the relationship for our partners to our parents.” And amid all this Anil is also in the same situation where he couldn’t talk to her daughter about his and Juhi’s relationship.
