When should you introduce solids to your baby ?

I'm a first-time mom, and my baby girl just turned 6 months yesterday. At her last pediatrician visit, the doctor suggested we start introducing solids around 5.5 months. We tried giving her banana, daal ka pani, sweet potato, and water, but she really didn’t like any of it. We paused for a couple of days and tried again, thinking maybe she was ready this time. But seeing other babies online starting solids at 4 or 5 months and eating so well made me feel like I must be doing something wrong. I didn’t want to give up though, so today I started again — this time with a banana shake mixed with breast milk. She had a few sips but mostly spit it out. Still, I’m trying to keep offering it gently. I don’t have any extra help around, but a good friend gave me some advice: "Don’t focus on filling her tummy. Right now, it’s just about letting her taste different foods and getting used to the idea." That really helped shift my mindset. I also searched for videos on how to feed babi...

Junk food…..Is it a food or poison…?

Fast food or Junk food looks so attractive and yummy. Now these days, the custom of eating junk food is increasing day by day and everyone is enjoying it. But it contains lots of calories, sugar, sodium which can lead to obesity, health problems, diabetes and heart disease.

Junk food is less nutritional and harmful to our body to stay healthy. In the market,  there are so many readymade products are available, which is nice in taste or easy to cook. Lots of people are depending on these kinds of foods due to their busy schedule. But, it doesn’t contain much protein or good carbohydrate in its food. You can feel less energetic after having junk food. Because of it, we feel lack of enthusiasm and laziness in our daily life routine. Eating too much refined white sugar, lots of oil in junk food and simple carbohydrates can cause your metabolism low and your pancreas secretes high amounts of insulin to prevent a dangerous spike in blood sugar levels. The high level of sugar can lead to diabetes, cancer, early aging, high blood pressure, bone problems, mental disorders, heart attacks, and many more health disorders.

People of all group age are finding it delicious and moving towards it. We should avoid such junk foods in our daily life and in the stead of it, we should order or cook healthy food for our long and healthy life. Good health is the necessary for a healthy life for every human being or creature on the earth, which needs to maintain a healthy diet and healthy habits.
